Hi This Is Stephen Minho Choi, first off I wanna thank everybody that donated and made it possible for me to launch into Thailand/Cambodia alongside with my squad. I wanna thank my church for giving me the upmost support I’ve never received such a big sum of money within such a short time just barely inching away from the deadline so people willing to donate that amount to me within such a short time is telling me that I gotta trust and believe in God, and the grace/gift will follow suit whatever it maybe. Like I literally called my pastor and told him about all this and he was like “yeah dude people give me money all the time, like random people in the church just giving me a thousand dollars or something, God’s grace is lasting even when you aren’t looking for it actively.”        Somehow whatever endeavor that I took no matter how risky or benign it seemed to other people, when I  put my heart and soul into the matter it pays off due to God’s grace. So with all that fundraising and finances out of the way, which is a huge relief and mental break for me. I get to focus on ministry and just focus on me God and the people around me.                          In order to get to Thailand in the first place was a huge ordeal with I believe 55+ hours of traveling total which was a massive, but awesome endeavor that we undertook. Honestly coming here to Thailand is honestly one of the most surprising things for me in the sense of whatever preconceived notions of this country is shattered, because looking up and learning about the country and whatever bias and prejudice I’ve had is challenged upon meeting and being in this country almost the past week. I’m very excited to do ministry with the host who has been in the country for almost 3 years now and have begun to really break ground with the groundwork there laying within the country to spread the gospel. Surprisingly this has been the most unconventional mission work for me in terms of mindset and mentality due to the fact that the ministers themselves aren’t doing typical missionary work in unreached countries like church planting and evangelism, because that been the strategy for the last 200 years amongst missionaries in Thailand and yet less then 1% of the population is christian. So for them is all about just creating relationships and honoring the culture and assimilating into the society and that way we can share the gospel.                   It’s pretty refreshing to have an unique opportunity not only for this ministry,  but for the fact that I am in this country and just able to witness a very familiar yet different culture then the Korean background that I’m familiar with all my life, kind of just paints the world differently and just gives me the strength and hope of a better kingdom for all of mankind. I don’t wanna say it’s all sunshine and rainbows, because there obviously is darksides to Thailand like the sex trafficking and prostitution, with alot of the foreigners coming here to take full advantage of the industry Me looking all flashy like it's nothing. . Though despite that, there definitely is an atmosphere of ease and overall genuine friendliness that I really appreciate and enjoy and glad everyday I am here. As a final send off for now I wanna thank everyone who supported me in this trip, and grateful to God and the nation I’m standing in to be blessed all the way.
